How to proceed

In order to help a manufacturer to develop and produce a product based on our registered designs, we propose the following steps:

 

  • 1. We will provide the manufacturer with one basic (prototype) machinery which forms and bakes the buns. This machine will be built according to the manufacturer’s specifications (size & shape of final products) and it will be sent to his facilities. The purpose of using this machine is to test, with minimum cost, the final products, the recipe adjustments, the production process etc., before the manufacturer decides to move to large scale production.

 

  •  2. We have to visit the manufacturer’s premises with our baking specialist and work with his staff on this machine. We have to train them on how to bake products using our current recipe on this machine. By doing this, the manufacturer will:

 

a) understand the production process which has to be applied on the building of the production line. The biggest part of the production process is followed by any bakery production facility (scaling, mixing, dividing, rounding, proofing). Only the last two production steps, shaping & baking, are performed by using the above mentioned specific mechanical equipment.  Production of sample products will help the manufacturer to understand better the process in order to design a production line suitable to his needs.

 

b) produce adequate quantities to cover market tests of any size. 


  •  3. If the manufacturer decides to move to large-effective scale production, then he has to adopt a simple robotic system (robotic arm) which will imitate the human movements only during the production face of forming and baking the final product. The forming and baking equipment will now be designed together with the robotic system in order to develop an extension to the existing dividing-rounding- proofing system that the manufacturer already uses for other types of buns. An initial design for automated production line is available.
